When an individual sustains an injury because of a defective product, Attorney Michael Imprevento seeks to uncover the negligent party or parties and hold them accountable for the damage caused. Mike is credited with victories in cases that other lawyers refused to tackle. As a personal injury attorney at Breit Biniazan, he believes in being a champion for his clients and delivering groundbreaking results.

Mike is widely recognized by his peers for his relentless and effective approach to litigation. He has been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America®, been AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, and has been annually selected by other lawyers to the Virginia Super Lawyers list since 2006. These selections solidify Mike as one of the leading Virginia Beach personal injury attorneys, and among the top litigators in Virginia.

A native of Queens and Long Island, New York, Mike came to Tidewater after serving in the United States Navy and decided to make it a home. The grandson of an immigrant bricklayer who pushed him to work hard and get a good education, Mike went to law school at Hofstra University in New York. After law school, he joined the Navy, where he served as a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) from 1982 through 1986. Since completing his service in the Navy, Mike has handled a wide variety of criminal and civil cases, but his passion is products liability and personal injury including trucking and motorcycle accidents and employment law. Mike has served as General Counsel for several police and fire unions and coalitions in Hampton Roads.

Mike is no stranger to local talk radio, he hosted “Motorcycle Mania” on AM 850 WTAR every Sunday for five years. He has been a frequent guest and contributor on Tony Macrini’s show and the Ask the Expert shows. He also has his own program called “The Mike Imprevento Show” on AM 790 WNIS. Mike lives in Virginia Beach with his wife Yolanda and has a daughter who lives in New York.
